I've made several of these gas caps for Harley-Davidson bayonet-style or cam-lock style gas tanks. They look and work great and I'm pretty pleased with the design... all the maching done on my 1950's-era South Bend 10L lathe and Index Model 55 knee mill. I have made them in both brass and T6061 aluminum.
