Gas Cap Beginnings....

This is a piece of 2.75" diameter C360 brass chucked up in my venerable 1953 South Bend 10L lathe.  Next, it's on to the vintage Index Model 55 vertical knee mill.

New Brass Machining Work

An internet buddy asked me to make a brass cover for his gas tank filler neck.  After thinking it over, he also wanted a brass exhaust tip for the 2" collector on his custom-fabbed 2-into-1 pipes.  This is what I came up with... wanted it somewhat embellished yet "all bizness".

Man, these are my kind of projects!  These are three fresh tanks that have landed with me and are destined (from left to right) for Seattle, Finland and Alabama.  Three tanks that are gonna get a little House Of Kolor cool applied by da FlameThrower!  Stay tuned for updates....!

Brake Set-Up by Rich In Connecticut

Rich fabricated and machined this braking rig for his 2005 hardtailed Sporty chop... probably a damned good idea since his motor is modded out to over 100 RWHP!  Nice work, Rich!

New Paint For Rich Is Almost Done

Just needs wet-sanded and buffed and it will be on its way to Rich in Connecticut to be installed on his hardtailed 2005 Sporty chop.
